As part of its endeavor to develop its staff members’ abilities and continually enhance their skills and keep updated on international best practices for supporting economic projects and business incubators, a delegation from Sharjah Chamber recently took part in a specialized course on leadership programs for innovative enterprises in California, USA.
Sarah Al Madani, board member, led the Chamber’s delegation which included Muna Omran, small and medium-sized business center manager and some staff members. The course comprised holding business meetings that discussed means for cooperation between Sharjah Chamber and American authorities specialized in supporting entrepreneurs and their businesses, and creating an environment that motivates and develops young entrepreneurs.
This courses was aimed at getting acquainted with best practices in the USA that are being implemented in leadership programs that support small and medium-sized enterprises, their role in economic development by fostering new ideas to establish enterprises of their own and facilitating their launch, in addition to searching for new partnerships for the business incubators in the emirate.
