The 4th Middle East Investment and Real Estate Exhibition and Conference Acres Middle East 2017, held at Expo Sharjah, saw in its conclusion a large number of commercial deals being signed thanks to the diversity of investment opportunities and financial facilities provided by local and international establishments taking part in this event.
The exhibition, held under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad bin Sultan the Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and organized by Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SCCI, and Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, in collaboration with the SCCI’s Real Estate Sector Working Group, saw huge attendance by businessmen, investors, real estate developers and individuals, who praised the promising opportunities afforded by Sharjah in real estate and investment.
Visitors as well as exhibitors praised the high level of organization of the exhibition, projects and services offered, and pointed out the high credibility of real estate products offered by exhibitors over 3 days, and the diversity of those products that gave visitors and investors numerous choices for their needs.
More than 45 local and international specialist companies in real estate development and investment took part and sought to make use of Sharjah’s status as an outstanding destination for investment and a regional commercial hub, especially with its flexible legislations, incentive packages and facilities. Visitors included Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qassimi, Head of the Office of Sharjah Ruler, accompanied by Abudullah Sultan Al Oweis, Chairman of Sharjah Chamber, who toured the different pavilions and met exhibitors and CEOs, and praised the exhibition’s organization.
Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qassimi emphasized the importance of organizing such real estate exhibitions in Sharjah, pushing the real estate sector further ahead, increasing its activities and putting the spot light on the huge growth in real estate in the emirate, one the most effective sectors in the UAE. For his part Khaled bin Butti Al Hajeri, Director General of Sharjah Chamber, thanked Expo Centre for its efforts in supporting the exhibition.
Al Hajeri further thanked Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department and SCCI’s Real Estate Sector Working Group, and all entities that worked to make the exhibition a success, stressing that it has become a model platform for companies to showcase their new projects, and a unique opportunity for investors and individuals to test the reality of the market for real estate and attractive financing.
Al Hajeri emphasized Sharjah Chamber’s keenness to continue to support Acres exhibition, which has become one the most important economic events to take place at Expo Centre over the year, eagerly awaited by stakeholders of the sector.
In the closing ceremony Al Hajeri and Mohammad Ahmed Amin, Director General Assistant for Communication and Business Sector of Sharjah Chamber, and Saeed Ghanim Al Suwaidi, Head of SCCI’s Real Estate Sector Working Group, honored all companies, local, Arab and regional, that participated in Acres 2017, and gave them certificates of appreciation, for their effective participation in the fourth edition of this exhibition.
