Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), represented by Sharjah Training and Development Centre (STDC), has launched the second cycle of the Strategic Business Leadership Programme 2024-2025 titled “Begin your Successful Leadership Journey”.
Organised in cooperation with Granada Business School affiliated with the Spain-based Granada Chamber of Commerce, the programme aims to prepare future leaders using advanced methodological tools and enhanced training techniques.
The programme targets department managers and heads and focuses on seven key areas and themes. These include business psychology in strategic leadership, employing artificial intelligence (AI) to lead next-generation institutions, design thinking for addressing challenges, building innovative strategies and risk management approaches, laying out innovative institutions, and fostering organizational creativity.
Maryam Saif Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for the Support Services Sector at the Sharjah Chamber, affirmed SCCI’s ongoing effort to promote the UAE government's strategies for investing in human capital, nurturing talent, attracting intellectual resources, and sustainably developing human skills and capabilities.
She noted that launching the second cycle of the Strategic Business Leadership Programme reflects the Sharjah Chamber's commitment to enhancing and developing human resources within government institutions and promoting a culture of institutional excellence based on best global practices. This initiative aims to equip qualified personnel with the skills necessary for making informed decisions across various institutional frameworks.
For her part, Amal Abdullah Al Ali, STDC Director, highlighted the programme’s significant role in advancing the capabilities of human resources in the government sector, specifically in terms of strategic leadership and business management.
She elucidated that the programme encompassed a series of advanced workshops designed to enhance participants' skills and capabilities. The programme is also focused on developing more effective and proactive strategies while offering participants valuable insights into global best practices in business management. Furthermore, participants will gain hands-on experience through training sessions scheduled to take place in Spain.
The 2nd cycle of the Strategic Business Leadership programme 2024-2025 aims to strengthen participants' skills in developing innovative strategies that will further enhance the work operations within their respective organisations.
It also seeks to equip participants with a comprehensive set of skills and knowledge to enhance their understanding of their personal behaviors and explore their professional capabilities that positively influence the behaviors of others.
Additionally, participants will learn how to analyse their work environment and present innovative solutions for diverse future challenges. The programme also helps trainees identify their unique strengths and the creative elements that facilitate their career advancement, while fostering the development of work methodologies and innovative new models.
