At its 106th meeting at the headquarters of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Board of Directors of the UAE Federation of Chambers discussed a number of topics that focused on developing the private sector. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Abdullah Al Owais, Vice Chairman of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber, in the presence of their Excellencies Members of the Board of Directors of the UAE Chambers , and His Excellency Humaid Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary-General of the Federation. A number of common topics were reviewed, most notably the mechanisms for integrating private sector business relations in the UAE.
Al Owais expressed his appreciation for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs endeavors to advance the private sector and achieve the government’s visions and strategies, and he stressed consultation in the process to reach common visions that enhance the role of the Federation of UAE Chambers as an active and interactive partner in formulating economic decisions.
The meeting also touched on a number of topics on its agenda, including the final accounts, the annual report, and the activities and events in which the Federation of Chambers will participate during the next phase, as well as the trade missions and other common.
