Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry has expressed its appreciation for the boundless assistance and support received by the business sector in Sharjah emirate from His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, Supreme Council Member Ruler of Sharjah, and Sharjah Chamber’s Board of Directors expressed their appreciation for His Highness’s wise directives that contributed to drafting Sharjah Chamber’s work strategy to shepherd  this sector’s needs and enhance its contributions in the march towards a sustainable and comprehensive development in the emirate, under the close follow-up and great efforts made by the Executive Council of the emirate under the presidency of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, in cooperation and coordination with other local government departments and the business sector.

This was announced in meeting held by Sharjah Chamber’s board of directors that was presided over by Abdullah Sultan Al Oweis, Chairman of the Board, and attended by Sheikh Majid bin Faisal Al Qassimi, First Deputy to the Chairman, Waleed Abdulrahman Bu Khatir, Second Deputy to the Chairman, board members, Khaled bin Butti Al Hajeri, Director General, Director General Assistants for the sectors and executive staff at the Chamber.

The board of directors reviewed during the meeting the draft work strategy for the Chamber for the years 2017 – 2021 that has been prepared under a detailed and comprehensive study  that relied on the results and achievements of the previous strategy and the reality of the economic community and business sector, private and public, and the aspirations for its events under a comprehensive vision for Sharjah emirate for comprehensive development and aspirations for 2021, in addition to researching the internal and external environments at all levels and the effects of its changing variables and challenges without ignoring the potential, expertise, and achievements of Sharjah Chamber.
