Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) hosted the business forum of the Federation of GCC Chambers’ Council that discussed the challenges facing the private sector and working to overcome them, and the possible venues for enhancing cooperation in commerce among Gulf Cooperation Counci countries. The board of directors of the Federation of GCC Chambers expressed its gratitude for His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for receiving them and always ensuring to make the efforts made by the Federation of GCC Chambers successful in serving the business sector, and for his wise directives to enhance ties among representatives of the private sector in the Gulf.
The forum was presided over by Ali Mohammad Thunayan Al Ghanim, President of Federation of GCC Chambers and Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and was attended by Abdul Rahman Al –Otaishan, Board President of Al Sharqia Chambers in Saudi Arabia, Mohammad Thani Murshid Al Rumaithi, President of Federation of UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Chamber, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammad Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar Chamber, Khaled Abdul Rahman Al Muaed, Chairman of Bahrain Chamber, Dr. Hamdan Abdullah Al Samrin, President of the Council of Saudi Chambers, and Saeed bin Saleh Al Kiyumi, Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting was attended by HE Abdullah Sultan Al Oweis, Vice President of the Federation of UAE Chambers and Chairman of Sharjah Chamber, Saeed bin Nasser Al Talay, Chairman of Umm Al Quwain Chamber, and Khalifah Khamis Mattar, Chairman of Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
