The meeting also saw the presence of Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Vice President of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry; Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber; Humaid Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry, general managers of the Chambers of Commerce, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, and fourteen members of the Council representing the Chambers of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
The meeting praised the important roles played by the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry during its various stages in serving the business sector and local and international investors and strengthening the UAE's relations with trade partners around the world.
They affirmed that the changes and improvements in the economic systems, laws and legislations aim in their entirety to enable the Emirates Chambers and the private sector to adopt a greater role in development, and to enrich and expand the experience of participation in economic decision-making with all actors in the economic aspects of the country.
During the meeting, many topics of interest to business owners were discussed, as well as the initiatives, events and conferences that the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry will carry out with the member chambers, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Economy during the coming period, which aim to serve business owners and contribute to strengthening the position of the UAE private sector globally.
