Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, recently hosted a training workshop on “PR and Socia lMedia for the Creative Entrepreneur” , in collaboration with the British expert Mrs. “Frances E. Jenkins”.
The workshop aimed at providing academic tips on how to deal with social network, as it is, nowadays, one of the crucial means of unimpeded communication with internet users. The training worksheet exposed internal and external analysis, goals and views via networks, as Sharjah Chamber seeks to maintain organizational reputation using outstanding business networking.
The seminar involved many critical components on Social Media monitoring. On top of it: strong PR-Social Media relation, which was meant to foster corporate reputation through digital PR as modern means. Also, it included an implementation of advanced strategy to meet spotted goals, as well as, situational analysis for identifying organizational needs and its stakeholders. It was set to find out how competitors use social networks, in order to build a feasible plan for an ultimate advantage.
HE Khalid Bin Butti Al Hajri Director General of the SCCI praised “The critical role of Social Networks in the corporate reputation which is prompt and direct tool for a reciprocity of thoughts, information and facts”. He added: “Skills development, sharing positive news stories and false news control are all pillars of different establishments seeking to strengthen their digital entity especially to stakeholders, and publics in general”,
On the other hand, Mariam Al Shamsi SCCI Assistant Director General for Logistics said: “the workshop is part of Sharjah Training and Development Center work-plan. It is a section of comprehensive training program designed and accredited by the Center to boost staff qualifications by providing them with academic and technical skills, also with necessary knowledge that help them to perform well.”
