Sheik Sultan bin Mohammad bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated “Business on Wheels” services for Sharjah Chamber, launched by Sharjah Chamber during its participation in “Emirates Week for Innovation” at Expo Centre Sharjah.
This initiative is a first of its kind in Sharjah, and aims to provide investors and entrepreneurs in the emirate with facilities, by making it possible for them to complete their transactions through the mobile office that was built by the Chamber and furnished with all essentials for completing transactions in a timely manner.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by HE Abdullah Sultan Al Oweis, Chairman of the Chamber’s board of directors, HE Sultan Al Muheiri, Secretary General of the Executive Council and Director of the Supervising Committee at “Emirates Week for Innovation”, along with Mohammad Ahmed Amin, Director General Assistant for Business and Communication at the Chamber, and Marriam Seif Al Shamsi, Director General Assistant for Human Resources, and team members from the Chamber who supervised the project.
From its pavilion at the Center Sharjah Chamber announced a number of initiatives and innovative projects as part of its endeavor to provide the best services to its clients and staff.
The Chamber’s initiatives included a package of services and initiatives that aim to enhance satisfaction with its services and performance, and satisfying its clients and the business community in the emirate, such as the “Business on Wheels” services and the “Workshop for Innovation” initiative and “From Sharjah to the World”.
HE Al Oweis stressed Sharjah Chamber’s keenness to take part in “Emirates Week for Innovation 2016” event, and to develop an economic life style in the emirate within its ambitious vision and authority among the business community.
Al Oweis said the Chamber’s participation through its pavilion at Expo Center Sharjah stems from the Chamber’s strong belief and tireless work as one team to achieve wise leadership and to translate the UAE’s approaches and enhance Sharjah emirate’s position as a knowledge based society and a pioneering global destination in providing innovative services.
For her part, Mona Al Suweidi, head of the Chamber’s team that is participating in the events, said the Chamber works continuously to find innovative initiatives and services through brain storming and exploring the best practices and through constant search for the best practices to satisfy its clients and business community and attract more investment to Sharjah and the UAE.
Business on Wheels
One of the most remarkable initiatives presented by the Chamber at this event is Business on Wheels services, a first of its kind in Sharjah that aims to provide facilities to investors and entrepreneurs in the emirate, by making it possible for them to complete their transactions in a timely fashion through the mobile office that was built by the Chamber and furnished with all essentials for completing transactions.
Workshop for Innovation
Sharjah Chamber has launched another initiative under the banner “Workshop for Innovation”, the brainchild of Ms. Amel Al Hosani, who explained it as an initiative that aims at developing the intellect of staff, enhance team work in high morale that helps develop continuous advancement and finding ideas that help staff succeed in performing their duties by breaking routine and applying the concept of “Gamification" that gives staff the incentive to increase productivity and positive competition, while Mrs. Hana Taryam said that this initiative has attracted much attention and interaction from the public who liked the pioneering idea that put a smile on their faces.
I Innovate for My Sharjah
Sharjah Chamber’s activities this week extend to include a workshop under the banner “I Innovate for My Sharjah”, which attracts the public and motivates them to take the initiative to present proposals and innovate projects that can become reality, in order to improve and develop services and activates that benefit Sharjah emirate and can be adopted by the other emirates.
Mona Al Suweidi, head of the Chamber’s team, said that the workshop assists in using technologies and innovative thinking and design to produce ideas and stimulate creativity, enabling participants to utilize modern approaches in innovation to produce positive results and innovative models for improving procedure and services of government departments and develop performance.
On his part Saud Al Hajeri, Public Relations and Societal Responsibility Section Head and member of the Chamber’s team said the Chamber organizes activities and events full of innovation that allow visitors of all ages to communicate and take part, enhancing a culture of innovation and creativity among the public.
Al Hajeri added that the Chamber’s pavilion at “Emirates Week for Innovation” has witnessed launching various events full of innovation that allowed visitors of all ages to communicate and take part, enhancing a culture of innovation and creativity among the public.
The Chamber has been keen to encourage and motivate creative ideas among students through sponsoring a number of their innovative projects and adopting their promising talents.
The Chamber’s participation in this event comes as part of implementing the UAE’s vision and initiatives that aim to enhance the county’s competitiveness by adopting a culture of innovation and creativity in all fields, and embodying Sharjah emirate’s vision in enhancing the vested interests of its people and corporations in knowledge and creativity.
The Chamber’s participation aims to contribute in achieving the wise vision of His Highness Dr. Sheik Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and implement the directives of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, to endow innovation with much importance as the basis for achieving advancement, and comprehensive and sustainable development.
