The executive committee of the Sharjah Excellence Award has explored one of the initiatives of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to up level the performance and services of economic entities and their contributions in spreading a culture of quality and excellence locally and regionally. This came during a meeting that brought together the executive committee headed by Ms. Nada Al Hajri, General Coordinaor of the Award, with Russell Longmore, the new CEO of the European Foundation for Quality Management, and Geert Obdenbosch, CFO of the EFQM. During the meeting the latest developments and changes in the Foundation's model were discussed as well as ways of cooperation between the Award and the European Foundation through the presentation made by the Coordinator of the Award which detailed the executive and assessment stages of both documentary and field categories.
