The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and industry, in cooperation with the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and industry, organized the Emirati-Australian Business Forum, on the occasion of the visit of a high level delegation of Australia headed by Roland Jabbour, head of the Australian-Arabic Chamber of Commerce and industry, with included more than 50 businessmen and representatives of companies in Australia. The forum aimed at introduction of joint investment opportunities and the prospects for bilateral cooperation and partnerships in various economic sectors and to avail the opportunity for participants from the two countries to meet with their counterparts to discuss cooperation and investment opportunities in the sectors of education and training, food products, animal feed and grain, electronic security, medicine and health care, tourism, mining, meat, livestock, real estate investment in addition to human resources. More than 100 bilateral talks and meetings were held on the sidelines of the Forum between businessmen from both sides, centered on mutual partnerships, cooperation and coordination and discussed investment opportunities. The delegation toured the permanent exhibition, hailing it as a platform to promote products and create opportunities for cooperation between companies and visitors.
