Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) organized an extensive business meeting between a number of businessmen from Sharjah and their counterparts from the Republic of Kyrgyzstan to achieve cooperation in trade investment and explore investment opportunities and holding economic partnerships between the two sides. The delegation included a number of investors and owners of Kyrgyz companies in various economic sectors including food, construction materials and logistics.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by HE Aibek Mamatbekov, Consul General of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan in Dubai and Northern Emirates, Abdulaziz Mohammed Shattaf, Director General Assistant and Director of Sharjah Export Development Center, expressed Sharjah Chamber’s keenness to exert more efforts to strengthen economic cooperation with the business community in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan in order to drive forward bilateral economic relations and achieve common interests. Sharjah Chamber welcomes making use of all means to support this cooperation and encouraging the local private sector in Sharjah to identify investment and trade opportunities with The Kyrgyz side and that these direct meetings are a good opportunity to exchange views and learn about the nature and reality of the activities of each side ..
Mr. Shattaf gave a presentation on Sharjah Chamber’s role in servicing the local business sector and its initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing its affiliated members’ activities. The presentation also highlighted Sharjah Export Development Center’s role in promoting industrial and local products and programs and participating in exhibitions and forums in order to enter new markets.
During the forum bilateral meetings were held between the members of the delegation and businessmen from Sharjah that discussed the means of cooperation by introducing each side’s activities and services.
An orientation tour of the permanent exhibition of the local industrial products was organized that allowed the visitors to see different models of national industries and especially those related to their businesses.
