The real estate investment exhibition ECRS 2018, organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Real Estate Registration Department, the Real Estate Sector Business Group in Sharjah and hosted by the Expo Center Sharjah, witnessed the signing of a large number of real estate deals that made use of the diversity of investment options and financing facilities offered by real estate companies participating in the event.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the event was attended by businessmen, investors and property buyers who were introduced to real estate products And promising opportunities and investment in this vital sector of Sharjah throughout the event.
The exhibition was attended by more than 45 local and foreign companies and institutions specialized in real estate development and investment who presented a wide range of offers to those wishing to invest and capitalize on Sharjah's status as an attractive investment destination, especially in products that gave visitors and investors various options that satisfied their ambitions and met their needs.
The visitors praised the meticulous organization of the exhibition and the projects and services it included, attesting to the high credibility of the real estate products showcased by the exhibitors over three days, and the variety of new products, projects, offers and exclusive releases.
The exhibition opened its doors to visitors on Wednesday March 21 and received large numbers of visitors looking for housing units and projects, real estate, tourism and commercial facilities of various space areas, services, financing and perks offered by investors, real estate developers and exhibitors.
ICERS 2018 witnessed a number of specialized seminars on the legal aspects of investment in real estate, in which a number of institutions and legal specialists participated and a number of workshops were organized to raise awareness among representatives of the private sector and visitors on investment in real estate and marketing through social media, in addition to exchanging views and listening to experts answering questions on the management of real estate and introducing investment opportunities in this sector.
HE Khalid Bin Butti Al Hajri, Director General, thanked Expo Centre Sharjah for supporting the exhibition and thanked the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, the Real Estate Sector Business Group and all the parties that cooperated and contributed to the exhibition.
Al Hajri stressed Sharjah Chamber’s keenness to support the real estate sector in Sharjah, adding that increasing the volume of investments in this sector confirms the confidence it enjoys locally and regionally, which is key to achieving economic stability, increasing trade, and supporting the national economy.
HE Saif Mohammed Al Midfaa, CEO, Expo Center Sharjah, said organizing ECRS annually is in line with Sharjah's vision to diversify the emirate's income sources and its endeavors to transform into a financial and real estate hub, supporting the real estate sector as one of the fastest growing sectors in the country and estimated at Dh918 billion (USD 250 billion).
Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Real Estate Sector Representative Committee, said that the real estate investment exhibition "ECRS" proved its ability to provide new investment in real estate in the emirate and contributed greatly to attracting investors and opening wider horizons to revitalize the sector in the emirate.
Al Suwaidi pointed out that this year's exhibition witnessed fierce competition among real estate developers in terms of providing a valuable packages of rare real estate opportunities, as well as discounts and offers on prices and facilities in payment and financing for residential and commercial projects.
The exhibition was supported by Expo Center Sharjah and sponsored by Tilal Properties, Sharjah Municipality, the Planning and Survey Department, Sharjah Media Foundation and the Sharjah Roads & Transport Authority.
