Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced the launch of “Sharjah Spring Promotions”, which starts in the beginning of 2018 to 15th of February. Its part of the promotional and marketing program aimed to support the retail sector.
This year’s Spring Promotions includes a number of programs and activities covering all regions of Sharjah. Its organized in cooperation with several governmental institutions and bodies, as well as to shopping centers and markets throughout the Emirate which have many prizes for shoppers that will be announced soon.
This year’s 45 day event includes many major campaigns, such as “Sharjah Grand Discounts”,”Kids Carnivals” ,“Spring Bazaar” hosted by Expo Centre Sharjah and “Al Batayeh Festival”
HE Khalid bin Butti Al Hajri, Director General of the SCCI, stressed the eagerness of Sharjah Chamber to support and develop economic sectors, in particularly the retail sector, as well as consolidating Sharjah’s reputation as one of the most important and leading shopping destination in the region.
Mohammed Ahmad Amin, Assistant Director General for Communication and Business at SCCI, stressed on the importance of Sharjah Spring promotions and the role of these type of events in promoting commercial movements and other related sectors, particularly industry, hotels, tourism and travel.
Hana Al Suwaidi, Head of Economic Promotion Section at the Chamber, said that the organizing committee of Sharjah Spring Promotions continues its readiness at all levels to ensure the success of the events that took place this year, noting that the Festivals and Events Department in the Chamber has developed many new scenarios for this year that covers various aspects of organizational, marketing and events based on questionnaires prepared at the end of Sharjah Spring Promotions last year.
This year’s Spring Promotions include major campaigns, such as Sharjah Grand Discounts, which will offer 80% discounts on many brands and products. Most shopping centers in the Emirate host Entertainment Shows, Kids Festivals at Sahara Centre and Mega Mall.
