Sharjah Chamber and Expo Centre Sharjah recently organized an event celebrating “National Day 46” for the establishment of the federation themed “Soul of the Federation” to express love and belonging to the United Arab Emirates and loyalty to its wise leadership.
The program was attended by Sheikh Majid bin Faisal bin Khaled Al Qassimi, first deputy chairman of the board, HE Waleed Bu Khatir, second deputy chairman of the board, included a celebration at the headquarters of Sharjah Chamber with a variety show of cultural segments, folk and national songs presented by Dibba Military band.
The event was attended by HE Khalid Al Hajri, Director General, Mohammed Amin, Assistant Director General for the Communication and Business sector, Mariam Al Shamsi, Assistant Director General for the Support Services Sector, Abdulaziz Shattaf, Assistant Director General for the Members Services Sector, Sheikha Azza Al Qasimi, Acting Chief Operation Officer at Expo Centre Sharjah, in addition to invited guests from government entities and economic work groups in the emirate.
Sheikh Majid bin Faisal bin Khalid Al Qassimi conveyed his congratulations to their Highnesses Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, their brothers Members of the Supreme Council Rulers of the emirates, and to the government and people of the UAE on the occasion of the 46th National Day of the federation, which is the fruit of what was instilled by the founder the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, that bloomed this bright present, under the wise leadership that made its people’s happiness and leadership its utmost priority.
HE Khalid Al-Hajri expressed his sincere congratulations to the wise leadership of the UAE on the occasion of the 46th National Day, stressing Sharjah Chamber’s keenness to continue its journey in the spirit of one team, deriving from the “soul of the federation” its solid will to overcome obstacles and redouble achievements year on year, contribute to achieving comprehensive renaissance in all fields and secure happiness and prosperity to its sons and daughters.
The celebration began by playing the national anthem and gathering in the lobby that was decorated with flags and national emblems, followed by taking photographs of members of the board of directors with staff, and was followed by the arts, cultural and folklore segments.
Abdul Aziz Al Houli, director of the Information and technology department, said: "Celebrating the National Day is an annual tradition which the family of Sharjah Chamber is keen to continue and celebrate the national, cultural and humanitarian dimensions of the occasion and the achievements and gains made by the UAE, which has made the UAE’s achievements under the global spot light. "
