sheikh Majid bin Faisal Al Qasimi, First Deputy Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, inaugurated Ramadan Nights’ Exhibition hosted by Expo Centre Sharjah which will run until June 30. The opening ceremony was attended by several officials, representatives from the business community and media personalities. The event attracted over 200 local and foreign exhibitors this season. Touring the various pavilions, Sheikh Majid bin Faisal Al Qasimi inspected the products on show, featuring a selection of the most important national and international brand names in the retail business. He stressed Sharjah’s determination to pursue sustainable development at all social and economic levels and to consolidate the status of emirate as a leading and outstanding destination for living, tourism, and business. Sheikh Majid bin Faisal Al Qasimi said that the Sharjah Chamber is keen to support and develop the events and exhibition industry and promote its competitiveness. He also highlighted the excellent participation in the event, attributing the success to the effective management and organisation. Al Qasimi also highlighted the quality products on show at the event, supported by excellent offers and promotions that would help families and consumers during the holy month of Ramadan. Supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the exhibition lasts over 16 days this season, and is considered the largest of its kind, with showrooms spread over the entire area the Expo Centre Sharjah. The festival commemorates the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr, and it is characterised by an exceptional joyful atmosphere, tempting offers, and enticing discounts up to 80%. Khaled Jassem Al-Madfaa, Chairman of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, affirmed that tourism development is a strategic priority for the Emirate of Sharjah, which has succeeded in consolidating its position on the international tourism map. Al-Midfa pointed out that the Tourism Development Authority has helped attract six leading tourism companies to participate in the exhibition, including “Arab Airlines.” He also stressed the importance of such companies’ participation, especially with the start of the summer vacations when people start looking for various travel packages, including travel, accommodation, transportation, etc. Saif Mohammed Al-Midfa, CEO of the Expo Centre Sharjah thanked Sheikh Majid bin Faisal Al Qasimi, for honouring the opening of the exhibition. He praised the unlimited support of Sharjah Chamber for all events organised and hosted by Expo Center Sharjah. He also thanked all the partners who contributed to the successful launch of Ramadan Nights Festival.
