Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Celebrates the 45th UAE National Day    12/07/2016

Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrated this Monday the 45th National Day on the anniversary of founding the United Arab Emirates by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahayan (May his soul rest in peace) and the founding fathers.

This celebration, organized by Sharjah Chamber, was held under the banner “Achievements of A Country and the People’s Pride”, with a string of celebrations witnessed in all emirates and cities, on this occasion that is dear to the hearts of every citizen and resident who are proud of the huge achievements made by the Emirates in all fields in the past 45 years in its blessed march.

The event started with staff and guests gathering at the Chamber’s lobby and then at its front yard, with flags and national emblems and logos that were approved by the high organizing committee for celebrating this National Day, as the Federal Police School played the National anthem; pictures were taken of the Chairman, members, officials and staff, and the activities continued with folklore and culture of heritage segments that reflected the spirit of the Emirati people and long history, including the unity march by the Chamber’s staff that set off to the heritage village, where the Chairman and the guests inaugurated it by touring its pavilions that showcased stands for handicrafts and projects for the productive families and authentic Emirati dishes.

The event included a tour of a photo exhibition titled “Milestones of 45 Years” that showcased photos of the Union’s progress and its most notable achievements in all fields made recent years. Then students from Majd Elementary School presented a delightful show on the amphitheater of the heritage village, and thereafter different segments were presented by folklore bands.

The activities were concluded by honoring staff working at the Chamber’s nursery for their great effort in caring for children, along with sponsors of the event, including Mohammad Hilal Group for perfumes, Mayla Group for International Trade and Sharjah’s local hotels.    

The event was attended by HH Abdullah Sultan Al Oweis, Sharjah Chamber’s Chairman of the Board, HH Waleed Bu Khatir, Second Deputy of the Chairman of the Board, members of the board, HH Khaled bin Butti Al Hajeri, Director General, HH Seif Mohammad Al Midfa, Executive Officer of Expo Centre Sharjah, Mohammad Ahmed Amin, Director General Assistant for Communication and Business Sector, Mariam Saif Al Shamsi, Director General Assistant For Human Resources, Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan, Director of Economic Relations, Chairman of the organizing committee of the event, in addition to guests form the public and the private sectors.
