The Program of the Private Sector Support to Orphans Academic Education
In the framework of confirming the role of the private sector and the enhancement of its mission in community the directives of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi the ruler of Sharjah and member of the UAE Supreme Council has come in conformity with the ambitions of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to sponsor a complete program titled “Tawasol” to express the local private sector ability to positively contribute in fostering the social work.
It is through this program orphans can complete their academic education in the University of Sharjah and to achieve their ambitions in order to serve their selves and to depend on their capabilities after being qualified to bear responsibilities in the different fields of work. A board of chancellors was formed to supervise the program execution and to approve a fund for financing the program and to follow up the work mechanism in this regard. This program is launched in cooperation and coordination between the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation and the University of Sharjah with material and financial contributions from business men and women, companies and establishments that are benefactors with active participations in support of benevolent works and offering humanitarian assistance to many categories, institutions and individuals in the UAE community.
